Since Sicolor was founded in 1951 it has distributed dyes and chemical products for the Textiles Industry in France. At the end of the 1960s it began working with Minerva for pigments and printing products. It became part of the Achitex Group in March 2005.

Currently, Sicolor operates in the dyestuffs and textiles auxiliaries sector as well as in the paper industry and in supplying dyestuffs for use in the Plastic Materials Industry.
